She announced that she got engaged to long-term beau Josh Ginnelly on Sunday in a gushing social media post.
Stepping out solo since the news, Alexandra Burke, 29, looked more than relaxed as she not only showcased her eye-catching sparkler on her ring finger but also took part in Cirque Du Soleil new show OVO at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday. The Bad Boys hitmaker appeared to be having a whale of a time as she got into the spirit of the evening and dressed up as a bug in a rib-tickling costume for an impromptu moment onstage.
Getting into the spirit of the evening, she donned an oversized black hat that featured red and pink elevated polka dots – made out of doorknobs – all over it.
The hat complemented her chic ensemble by chance and covered her waist-long brunette locks as she performed to a packed crowd.
She then popped on a pair of pink-coloured wings – which were hard to miss on stage – to complete her chrysalis from popstar to bug.
Joined on stage by a member of the cast, also dressed as an insect, Alexandra began busting a few moves before she was given a giant fly swatter to playfully hit some of the troupe with.
