Russia 2018 is moving in closely! The 2018 world cup kit of Nigeria’s football team, the Super Eagles, is sold out in London with the home kit selling out faster than expected.
The kit is reputed to be the most beautiful of all the national teams to play in the world cup in Russia, and has 3 million pre-orders before its release.
The kit was to be available on May 29 but Nike postponed the date to June 1 to meet up with the demand.
Buyers were spotted at the NikeTown store at Oxford Street in the UK.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles are rated as No.47 in the world, the Nike jersey they will be sporting in Russia was voted as the snazziest going to the FIFA World Cup.
The Nigerian jersey, in a Sky Sports poll, got 21,200 votes to come in first followed by Germany’s jersey while Australia’s yellow top came in third.
Dozens of people queued outside Nike’s flagship store on Oxford Street, London, before it opened at 10:00 ( 09:00 GMT) in a bid to get their hands on a #Nigeria’s @FifaWorldCup football kit.
