Tyga is on continued legal issues after failure to attend a lawsuit on Tuesday afternoon led to an arrest warrant being issued by a Los Angeles judge. But Tyga has reportedly faced further backlash for his no-show by furious members of girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s immediate family.
TMZ claim the rapper has been slammed potentially damaging the highly lucrative Kardashian-Jenner brand by failing to show up at the Santa Monica courthouse, opting instead to help Kylie celebrate her 19th birthday on Turks and Caicos in the Bahamas.
Tyga’s legal issues stem from his failure to pay a $480,000 judgement against him for back rent and damage at a Malibu home he rented in 2011. The rapper’s landlord, Gholamreza Rezai, went to court in 2012 claiming that Tyga missed a $16,000 monthly rent payment, skipped out on his lease and left the home in need of major repairs.
The Grammy-nominated California rapper also allegedly installed a dance pole in the middle of the master bedroom without permission.
