Khloe Kardashian, The Keeping Up with the Kardashians personality, 34, took to Twitter on Thursday to express her annoyance with social media users who pepper her with snide remarks, then delete the initial tweets when she responds to them – giving them an audience of nearly 26 million followers.
‘I dislike the fact that people are allowed to comment on my [daughter’s] skin color,’ Khloe wrote, ‘but as soon as I comment kindly back and praise her for all that she is, the comment gets erased.’Responding to a sympathetic follower, Khloe – who gave birth to her first child this past April 12 – said she wasn’t necessarily upset about people’s opinions that might offend her, but the cowardice they display when they delete their initial posts.
‘Everyone is entitled to their [opinions] and I’m not complaining about that,’ said Khloe, who shares True with with Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson, 27. ‘Please state your opinion but allow me to [state] mine.’She added to another user: ‘We will not be defined by social media. And I don’t mind the critics but please just stick with what you have to say. [Don’t] erase.’
Khloe admitted she’s taking a different tack when dealing with trolls.
‘I’m also really annoyed because I spoke so calmly and eloquently,’ she said, ‘when normally I am rash and f***ing aggressive lol.’
Khloe can be seen on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which airs Sundays on E! at 9/8c.
