One Africa Music Fest: Travel Diary, Days 3&4

It’s now a week till One Africa Music Fest Houston happening at the Toyota Center on October 22nd 2016. The college tours have been going on since last week but this time, I actually got to go on one of the tours.
This Saturday’s one was happening at the Houston Baptist University and it was quite an interesting experience to be back on a university campus.

After leaving the University, the next stop was at one of the biggest African food farmer’s markets in Houston; SouthWest Farmers’ market to see part of the One Africa Music Fest street team creating awareness and giving out fliers to the shoppers.

I was wearing an outfit by Benria. I loved the dress because it was so simple but chic.

It was dinner time after going to the university and the Farmer’s market, so I met up with some family to eat some tacos and dance a bit of Salsa. Houston has large community of Hispanics because the state of Texas is close to Mexico.

It was quite an eventful and fun 3rd day.

On the 4th day, Sunday, I went to one of the biggest churches in America; Lakewood church which is in Houston, Texas. The building used to be a stadium where the Houston Rockets; a basketball team used to play before they moved to the Toyota Center which is the venue for One Africa Music Fest.
